Stagg Shines at SWSC Cross Country Championships

The Stagg Chargers delivered a commendable performance at the SouthWest Suburban Conference Championships held on October 18, 2025, at Lockport High School East Campus. The event highlighted notable efforts from both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

According to the results, senior Jack Krusinski was a standout for the boys’ team, securing the individual varsity conference title with an impressive time of 14:57. This achievement is noted as one of the fastest runs in the school’s history. Following Krusinski were Bill Szeszycki, who finished 24th, and John Valdes in 43rd place, demonstrating depth and determination across their lineup. In the freshman-sophomore division, Luke Snell and Amir Benioul finished 19th and 20th respectively, indicating a promising future for the program.

For the Stagg girls’ team, Bridget Begley led with a time of 20:40, finishing in 33rd place. Her steady performance paced the varsity team effectively. Teammates Katie Moskala, Emily Pocica, and Rama Saada followed closely behind, contributing to one of their most complete team efforts of the season.
