Stagg High School’s Jack Krusinski secured the individual championship at the Southwest Suburban Conference (SWSC) meet on Saturday, finishing first overall with a time of 14:57.6.
The event was held on October 18, 2025, at Lockport High School, where runners from across the conference competed under cool and clear conditions. According to the results, Krusinski’s dominant performance led the way for the Chargers, demonstrating his strength and consistency throughout the fast 3-mile course.
On the freshman-sophomore level, Luke Snell and Amir Benioual both earned all-conference honors by placing 19th and 20th respectively. Their efforts highlighted Stagg’s depth across all levels of competition. The team’s collective showing reflected months of disciplined training and a strong culture of performance within the program.
The Chargers’ runners also impressed at last year’s SWSC meet; however, none finished in the top five individually. Krusinski’s victory in 2025 marks a significant milestone for the program and establishes him as one of the top runners in the conference.
