Stagg High School was well represented at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Golf Sectionals as both boys’ and girls’ programs sent individual qualifiers to compete among the state’s best.
This event took place Monday October 6th at Silver Lakes and Wedgewood golf course.
According to reports from Silver Lakes, senior Caiden Balacaitis took the course for the Chargers in the boys’ sectional, showcasing determination and steady play throughout the round. On the girls’ side, senior Sam Valencia carried the banner for Stagg, competing with focus and composure against a talented field.
The sectional appearance marked an important milestone for both athletes, reflecting the hard work, discipline, and leadership they have shown throughout the season. Their efforts highlight the continued growth of Stagg’s golf programs and the pride both players bring to Charger athletics.
