The Stagg dance program delivered a strong showing at its most recent regional competition, with the varsity team earning a third-place finish and the junior varsity squad turning in an impressive overall performance.
The regional meet took place Jan. 11 at Argo High School, where the Chargers competed against a deep field of programs from across the area and showcased their routines in front of a large crowd of schools and supporters.
The varsity team, led by captains Abby Sundararaj and Hailey Cates, secured a third-place trophy, highlighting the group’s precision, energy and execution throughout the competition. The JV team also “rocked it” on the floor, posting a confident performance that reflected the program’s depth and continued growth at both levels.
Both squads are guided by head coach Danielle Latorre, whose leadership and preparation helped the Chargers peak at the right time during the postseason stretch. The performances were supported by Stagg Athletics and the Stagg Athletic Boosters, who were on hand to celebrate the teams’ success.
With a podium finish and strong routines from both varsity and JV, the Chargers continue to build momentum as they move forward in the competition season.
