The Stagg Chargers girls basketball team secured a victory against the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers with a score of 57-38.
The game took place on December 13 at Bradley-Bourbonnais High School.
According to reports from the game, Stagg took an early lead and maintained control throughout the contest. The team showcased strong defense and balanced scoring, which prevented the Boilermakers from mounting a comeback. The Chargers’ offense was noted for its efficiency both from the perimeter and inside, allowing them to build separation by halftime and maintain momentum in the second half.
Stagg’s performance improved their season record significantly, marking this as part of a six-of-seven stretch where they have been among the top-performing teams in the league. Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais faced challenges in finding offensive consistency, enabling Stagg to dictate the pace of the game.
Looking ahead, Stagg is scheduled to host Oak Lawn on January 10 at Stagg High School.
The last time Stagg and Bradley Bourbonnais faced off was last year, on December 17 where the final score was 42-24 in favor of the Chargers.
