The Stagg Chargers faced a defeat against the Neuqua Valley Wildcats, losing 54–41 in a neutral-site varsity girls basketball tournament matchup on Wednesday. Despite their efforts, Stagg could not overcome the Wildcats’ performance.

According to reports, the Chargers and Wildcats previously met on November 26. During the game, Stagg demonstrated defensive toughness early on, managing to keep the score close at halftime. However, Neuqua Valley executed a decisive second-half run that secured their victory. The Chargers showed solid contributions on both ends of the court and continued to develop their rhythm as they progressed further into tournament play.

Looking ahead, Stagg is set to travel to Shepard for a non-conference matchup scheduled for Monday, December 1. The last encounter between Stagg and Shepard occurred on December 2, 2024, when the Chargers narrowly defeated the Astros with a dramatic 46–45 home victory.
