The Stagg Chargers defeated the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers 51-36 in Southwest Suburban Conference boys’ basketball action.
The game took place on December 16 at Stagg High School.
According to reports from the game, Stagg took control early and built a comfortable lead, relying on strong defensive pressure and consistent scoring to maintain the advantage throughout the game. The Chargers improved to 8-1 on the season with the win and continued to climb in conference standings. Bradley-Bourbonnais struggled offensively, finishing the night with 36 points as they fell to 4-5 on the year. Stagg’s balanced attack and solid execution on both ends helped extend their early season success.
Stagg is scheduled to take on Andrew next on January 9 at Stagg High School.
The last encounter between Stagg and Bradley-Bourbonnais was last season when Bradley-Bourbonnais defeated Stagg 52-47 on January 28 in Southwest Suburban competition.
