The Stagg Chargers boys bowling team is preparing to commence the 2025–26 season with a blend of conference challenges and early-season tournaments. These events are strategically designed to ready the team for postseason success.
According to the team’s schedule, the Chargers aim to compete at a high level in the SouthWest Suburban Conference while building depth for the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) postseason. The season opens on November 10 with an away match against Argo, followed by consecutive trips to Oak Lawn and Lincoln-Way East on November 17 and 18. Further early competition will be provided by Lockport, Richards, and the Oak Lawn Spartan Classic before December’s matches begin. Home matches against Bremen, Sandburg, and Lincoln-Way West will allow Stagg to showcase its skills on familiar lanes, while road trips to Lincoln-Way Central, Bradley, and participation in the Andrew Tournament will test the Chargers’ consistency.
The new year brings key contests, including SouthWest Suburban Conference play on January 9 and important road matches at Reavis and Chicago Christian. The postseason starts with the IHSA Regionals on January 17, followed by Sectionals on January 24, concluding at the IHSA State Finals on January 30–31. With a combination of talent, experience, and preparation, the Chargers are poised to make a significant impact both in conference play and at the state level this season.
