Palos Heights (Stagg) delivered a commanding team effort at the Reavis Invitational, placing multiple runners among the top finishers and showcasing the depth of its boys’ cross-country program in a strong field of competitors.
The meet took place on October 4, 2025, at Reavis High School in Burbank, Illinois.
Leading the way for the Chargers, senior standout Jack Krusinski finished second overall in the varsity race with a time of 15:42.02. He was followed closely by teammate Bill Szeszycki, who claimed third at 16:46.30, giving Stagg two of the top three spots in the field. Junior John Valdes added a seventh-place finish in 17:37.53, while Aidan Lopez (17th) and Aiden Maderak (18th) rounded out a dominant varsity top five. In the junior varsity race, Nasseem Mustafa took first with a time of 19:19.23, and Thomas Hagman earned second in the Open division to cap a stellar team outing.
According to event organizers, Stagg will next compete in the Sandburg Invitational on October 10 at 9 a.m., as they continue their postseason push.
In last year’s Reavis Invitational, Stagg finished third overall but did not place multiple runners in the top five, marking major improvement this season.
