The Stagg boys bowling team turned in a series of standout performances this season, highlighted by conference success, tournament finishes and multiple personal-best games from key Chargers.

The results came across December and early January at various conference meets and tournaments, including the Andrew Tournament and Southwest Suburban Conference competition.

Senior Noah Jones led the way with a third-place finish at the conference meet on Jan. 9, rolling a 1,416 six-game series and averaging 236 pins per game. Earlier in the season, Jones placed fourth overall at the Andrew Tournament on Dec. 15 with a 1,372 series and a 228 average, establishing himself as one of the league’s most consistent scorers.

Stagg also saw individual breakthroughs from Vassili Urobushkin, who posted a personal-best game of 243 on Jan. 12, and Dylan Hribar, who recorded a career-high 247 during tournament play in mid-December. Both performances marked key milestones for the Chargers’ lineup and added depth to the team’s scoring potential.

In team competition, Stagg earned a narrow but important victory over Reavis on Jan. 7, winning the match by 21 pins in a tightly contested conference showdown.

With strong top-end scoring and continued individual improvement, the Chargers have built momentum as they move deeper into the postseason portion of the schedule.
