Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Palos Hills has appointed Christopher Hall as the new head coach for the Chargers baseball team. The school, which served 2,347 students in grades 9 to 12 during the 2019-2020 school year, is part of Cook County. More details about the school’s demographics can be found on the Illinois Report Card website.
Christopher Hall brings extensive experience to his new role. He previously led St. Patrick High School to consecutive Regional Championships and earned an Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in 2022. During his tenure at De La Salle, he achieved a notable 10-2 division record and secured a conference title in his first season. His leadership also contributed to victories in both Regional and Sectional Championships in 2015.
Hall’s career includes serving as an Associate Scout for the Atlanta Braves from 2001 to 2019 and working with the Illinois Sparks Travel Baseball Club between 2011 and 2018. He has played a significant role in advancing young athletes to Major League Baseball and top Division 1 college programs.
Jen Doede, Athletic Director at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, expressed enthusiasm about Hall’s appointment: “We are thrilled to welcome such a dynamic and accomplished leader to Stagg Athletics,” she said. “His proven success, both in developing top-tier talent and fostering academic achievement, aligns perfectly with The Charger Way of Positive Presence, Growth Mindset, and High Character.”
The school community looks forward to Hall leading the next chapter of Charger baseball.
